Rainbows are full circles
A rainbow forms as a complete circle around the point opposite the Sun, although the ground usually hides its lower portion.
Why it is true
Each visible color reaches the observer from droplets at a particular angle. From a high viewpoint with water droplets below, more of the circle can become visible.
