Terms of Service

DailyFact provides checked, clearly explained facts throughout the day, including a featured daily fact, source links, and related learning features. The Service may include:

• A daily featured fact across categories such as science, history, and space
• Facts delivered according to the notification frequency you select
• Search, collections, saved favorites, and on-device reading history
• Optional accounts that sync favorites across signed-in devices
• Optional reminders, notifications, Home Screen or Lock Screen widgets on supported devices, and subscription features

You may browse DailyFact without an account. To create an account, you must be at least 13 years old or meet the minimum age required in your country. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these terms for you.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

When using DailyFact, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for an unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose
• Interfere with, damage, overload, or disrupt the Service or another user's access
• Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, access controls, or subscription restrictions
• Reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it
• Use automated systems to scrape, copy, or extract content at scale without written permission
• Transmit malware, harmful code, or content that infringes another person's rights
• Misrepresent your identity or your relationship with DailyFact or Logesta Labs LLC

DailyFact is free to download and use, with optional paid subscription features. Prices, billing periods, trial terms, and included features are shown before purchase. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are also subject to the applicable store terms.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled through your app store account settings. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the store where you purchased it. Deleting your DailyFact account or removing the app does not cancel an active subscription. Refunds are handled according to the applicable app store rules.

DailyFact and its original text, design, software, collections, and other materials are owned by Logesta Labs LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Source material remains the property of its respective owner.

We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for non-commercial purposes. You may share individual facts using DailyFact sharing features. You may not reproduce, redistribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit DailyFact content in bulk without written permission.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information. By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in that policy.

We work to check facts against reputable sources before publication, but knowledge and source material can change. We do not guarantee that every fact, explanation, translation, source link, or other item is complete, current, or free from error. We may correct, update, or remove content at any time.

DailyFact is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not medical, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice. Do not rely on the Service as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional or as the sole basis for an important decision.

The Service may include links to third-party websites, source material, app stores, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider's terms and policies.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of DailyFact. We do not promise that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Features may differ by device, platform, country, language, subscription status, or app version.

Widget refreshes and notification delivery may be delayed, limited, or interrupted by the operating system, network, or push-delivery services.

You may stop using DailyFact at any time and may delete your account from the app settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly violate these terms, create risk or legal exposure, or misuse the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Logesta Labs LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Logesta Labs LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for DailyFact, if any. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where Logesta Labs LLC is established, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where the consumer protection laws of your place of residence require otherwise. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve the dispute informally. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

We may update these terms as DailyFact changes or as required by law. We will post the revised terms on this page and update the date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice when required. Continued use of the Service after updated terms take effect means you accept them.
