Bananas contain a tiny amount of naturally radioactive potassium-40 along with ordinary potassium.

Why it is true
Potassium is essential to living cells, and a small fraction of natural potassium is the radioactive isotope potassium-40. The dose from eating a banana is extremely small and not a health concern.
