Uranus rotates on its side
Uranus has an axial tilt of about 98 degrees, so the planet appears to roll around the Sun on its side.
Why it is true
The extreme tilt gives Uranus unusual seasons. For part of its 84-Earth-year orbit, one pole points much more directly toward the Sun than the equator does.
